Can Bortles answer with a bomb to hurns to make mathis look like burnt toast?
Quote:Do y'all still think Colvin is better than McCray?
Pirkster does.

(I think he's a better athlete but lacking the experience at this level, but he did just get smoked!)

McCray is really underrated and Colvin is hyped (not saying he is bad...)
Quote:Hopefully that is just a knee contusion for Davis. His leg was off the ground when it got hit... thankfully

He came back in for the extra point, he's fine.
Well that was a terrible return.

I wouldn't say he got beat bad. Just better tracking from tate.

I think he got a boot to the middle looked winded to me
Quote:Why aren't people as hard on Colvin as they are on House?
Well one reason I can think of possibly...

Colvin was a 4th round pick and House was a free agent making ~5-6m a year.
Hope to see more Bortles and the 1's here.

Offense looks very good. Detroit defense not looking good though. Mathis looks awful tonight. And defensive penalties are helping out the Jags big time. Undisciplined defense from the Lions.

Wanna see a great drive here without help from Detroit defense
A 62 yard bomb has cut our lead in half.

Come on Jags, let's answer.

It looked like Ryan Davis just got the wind knocked out of him. I don't think he's actually hurt. Our blitzes seem to be effective but front 4 just isn't making any plays in the run or pass. Stonewalled. We NEED Marks in the utmost desperate sense possible.

Probably just leave a nasty bruise.
Let's focus on the positivez. Bortles is going out there again with some fire under his belly.

We've seen the defense been asked to bail out the offense for a decade plus. Let's see if bortles can buy some time for the defense and get good field position.
Jags have zero holes to run through
Sergio Brown may be the best safety on the roster. The guy covers some serious ground.

Gus said the starters would play the first half.
And yeah, that throw to Tate was gorgeous. Can't be mad at Colvin
Gus has said all week he wants the 1's to get a series after halftime so I expect to see the 1's the rest of the half.

Blake just looks so easy out there.
I'm really liking Greene
