Tacos it appears.  Also, roast LION!

Skewered Lion, who wants some?

I think I'll stick to my chicken wings. The lion might be overdone by 9 tonight.

Beer and lots of it.
Quote:The quick hit on SportsCenter about tonight's game just said there's QB battle in Jax between Bortles and Henne. Also mentioned Bortles was dead last in their QBR, good to see ESPN is up to speed on the happenings in Jacksonville.

Nope, I had the TV on as background noise while on the computer. I heard them start to talk about the upcoming preseason games, so I started listening and the first thing they brought up about tonight's game was a QB battle in Jacksonville between Bortles and Henne.

If that's true it's possibly the worst quick analysis ever.

It's ESPN; they can always do worse.

lol my thread got deleted here because I was saying people in my Jags group heard the same thing. Accused of trolling with no source.

But yeah, ESPN is embarrassingly out of touch. How does a station with beat writers to give you a pulse on every team leave you that far gone from the truth?
Quote:One day I'm going to set my alarm for 11:59pm and post the official game day thread.

But it won't be official, unless approved by the Amelia Island-Jaguar Woman police academy, along with strategically placed *s.

Regarding Blake, the facts hurt, but until he isn't the guy with the worst QBR (2014), he is. I embrace misperceptions. For some of us, it's a constant experience. The ultimate joy is knowing how far your reality is from the way you are perceived. Go Jags!
We normally don't remove a thread with as much credible evidence that it did happen. I'm thinking it was taken down simply because their take was so beyond being dead wrong that we'd rather not even draw attention to the notion. Hopefully it gets overlooked and just goes away as there's not the slightest shred of truth behind it.

ESPN and Rotoworld are quickly losing credibility when it comes to covering the NFL. Seriously now, if they don't have a clue what they're talking about they really should shut the hell up.

He had the worst QBR

You then assume he is still awful

And would be pushed by the #2 guy

They don't know the inner happenings like us diehards

Let me tell you what's worse, being in the actual games, and hearing the lack of knowledge from casual fans about THEIR TEAM, and some are season ticket holders

Ask fans here right now to state the stupidest thing they've heard right inside the Bank

It'll be a long thread

You disprove by winning

We have no voice now until that comes to fruition...
ESP...Who? I though they cancelled that when DP left.

I'm drugged up on 2 painkillers and a muscle relaxer thanks to my back going out. Should be fun to watch.......

Ugh seriously. I can't believe how many Jags "fans" really have no idea what they're talking about. Then there are the ones who think our colors are blue...
Somehow I've missed that QB battle.....but hey! I thought henne lost that last year.

I'm a little behind I guess, heading down to the 'Bank now.

GO JAGS! At least in the first half.

My wife and I are going to sit this one out, and it seems to be a good choice with the weather at our house right now.  My son and his girlfriend are probably "thanking us" for the tickets if the weather is anything like that down at the stadium.  They left to go tailgate a short while ago.   Tongue

When I sat in 440 about 7 years ago I heard a guy yell "THROW THE BALL!!!" about 20 times in a row.  Does that count?

Two weeks ago the guy next to me asked about the first round linebacker we drafted two years back.

I said he is throwing well so far.
Will be attending the Dodger game tonight so I will only be able to watch the 1st quarter.

Will be reading the message board throughout.

Keep ya boy posted!
