Pittsburgh only hit the qb once we hit there's 3 times..
That shows our o-line is good and if Joeckel plays to his potential..
We'll be a good offense..
Joeckel isn't looking like a #2 overall pick should.
The right side including Bowanko played lights out.
Beadles needs to stop holding, but he was solid.
Luke Joeckel looks like a 15 year old pop warner kid in a grown mans body slapping the ground when he gets beat. I hope tightens it up, I'm rooting for him.

The hold call on Beadles was pretty touchy. I've seen our defensive linemen have that kind of thing happen to them repeatedly without any call.
^^^ I agree it was a ticky tacky call, but he needs to get under the shoulder pads and drive instead of grabbing and pulling.
It was an easy call.
Beadles will be serviceable. Cann needs more PT
For what it's worth. Parnell graded lower than Joeckel....

From what im hearing from people.. The right side including Bowanko was lights out.. My friend says only 1 game but o-line looks better than last year..
It's just up to Joeckel and Beadles.. Can Joeckel stop getting beat like that.. Will Beadles play to his potential like when he was with Denver.. There's alot of ifs but this team also has alot of young talented players with tons of upside.. This offense is better than the defense right now.. i think a 9-7 record would make me happy.. Fowler comes back next season plus Blackmon if possible.. 9-7 would make me happy then next year we show what this team is capable of.. It's also way to early to say how good this team is.. Also with all the injuries and stuf we are winning games that shows we have depth.. That's a "good" sign..
Best thing I saw in the game was that the offensive line was getting movement. If they consistently get movement we'll be alright.

Yeah the right side was legit. That's what I don't get, there was one play where Joker got beat that makes the left side look worse.
I give Bortles lots of credit. I haven't seen a Jags QB climb the pocket to avoid pressure in over a decade.

It's so cool to see him feel pressure and step up like that. That's one of the things that makes Tom Brady so good. Feel for the pocket is a hugely important trait for him to become a good to hopefully great QB. His accuracy too was pretty rock solid as well sans that one overthrow.
I noticed the O-line improvement as well. If this keeps up it means good things for the offense.
*Time Bortles had to throw on his 11 completions (in seconds): 2.84, 2.06, 3.56, 1.29, 2.56, 2.69, 2.10, 2.25
@ryanohalloran: Enough injury talk, analyzing how the #Jaguars starters fared Friday night.

This tells me a lot about Bortles' progression. He is starting to anticipate his throws rather than focusing on how long his protection should hold up until he gets sacked. I'm very impressed to see this type of information. We may have found the guy boys
The line played well. They got good push on the rushing plays and provided good protection outside of a couple plays early in the game. Light years ahead of last year at this point.

That wouldn't really be the time he had but rather the time he took to throw.
Overall, the offensive line played well. I am encouraged; I hope they can play well again next week and string together some consistency in play.

Consistency in play is important. If we can be good and build on that and not see-saw I will be most happy.
Will Linder make Pro Bowl?
Parnell is a baaaaaaaaad man
