This is sad because they take away our best game to play there. 

I'm getting fed up with them taking our best home games and moving them to London.


The people of jacksonville deserve to see the Jags take on the Packers next year.

This has always been an issue for me as well.  It may do wonders for generating revenue in the UK, but it deprives the fans of being able to see one of the premiere teams in the league each year unless they want to fly to London.  If the NFL really wants to sustain a presence in London, they're going to need to look at weaker match ups to be played over there.  That will be a good test of how strong the support is for the NFL in the UK. 

Take the freaking Texans or Titans, not the Packers. I could have made my whole season ticket costs up with that one game.

There is a simple way to do this. Well I am going to try to make it simple lets hope I can. Play 4 games in Europe every season. have one entire division surrender a home game every season and play overseas. So example have the AFC South play one home game per team overseas against the a NON-DIVISION CONFERENCE team. 

For this season it would look like this.

Jags VS Steelers

Texans VS Bills

Colts VS Pats

Titians Vs Dolphins

 

Then the next season do the same thing but with the NFC South. Then just rotate through the league. There should never be more than 4 games played over there. And you should always have a Bi-Week the next week.

Not a bad idea. Although in this example you're also asking three AFC East teams to play in London (as away teams, but there is still the disruption of flying to Europe). Maybe it would be neater to replace Steelers with Jets? Or spread the away teams around the divisions ?

I'm not sure of a way to make the idea perfect, I am just spit balling here. But as they play more and more games out of country they need to find a way to affect teams a bit more equally. I am all ears to ideas

Interesting idea, the tacks might be up for it since they have ticket problems of their own but the clots and tinhorns won't like it. They sell out their stadiums and don't need the financials benefits that come with playing a game in London.

I understand, Same with Seahawks and so on and so fourth but if we get to the point the NFL has 6 or even 8 games a year outside the USA there should be a fair and balanced way to do it.

There should be, but it's not going to be. The objective of the International Series is to turn Europe and other continents into a viable market for the NFL and as a result increase its profit margin. The best way to do this is to send teams that are struggling to sell tickets at home to London. That's why you'll never see a Packers home game in London, they already make plenty of money in Wisconsin. It's the same for other teams with sold out stadiums, the only incentive they have to send a home game to London is they have to do so in order to host a Super Bowl.

When the owner of the team is volunteering to extend that relationship overseas, it's almost a guarantee that the Jaguars will be playing 1 game a year over in London for the foreseeable future.  The revenue stream gets a significant boost from the game the way he negotiated the previous deal.  If the league lets him hang on to the revenue in a similar way for another 4 years beyond the current contract, he'll jump all over that.

 

Making it equitable only works if you don't have one team willing to play a game a year over there.
