Yeah. He was a JuCo transfer. Played one season at USF and then declared for the draft. I would be surprised if he even got credits while he was there.

I read an article about him when he was a draft candidate. He didn't have much guidance in his life, other than he had an older sister who helped him a long. He almost quit football altogether when his coach left for another job. Not a bad kid, just not very smart at all and not much male guidance in his upbringing.
So when I heard this happen, I was not surprised. His Darwin rating is higher than average.

For those keeping count JPP pretty much lost his chance at a big payday, lost his index finger, could be facing criminal charges for illegal fireworks and would potentially face a suspension from the league if convicted.
Kids, this is a perfect example of how one seemingly innocent, but not well thought out situation can lead to some serious consequences.
Hope Schefter's got one hell of a good lawyer on retainer, because he and whoever gave him that chart are going to be sued for however many of those $14.8 million JPP misses out on as a result of this.
