We've all got our free agency wish lists at least partially filled out by now.
However, teams are likely to tag a number of the candidates we're crossing our fingers about.
Here's a decent breakdown from NFL.com on which guys may or may not get the tag:

Interesting.
I agree with most predictions in that article.
I hope JPP won't get the tag though, would really like to see him here.
Him and Zeitler would be the perfect FA combo to me (difficult to make it happen, I know).

Zeitler seems like he would be a perfect fit on our Oline. I'm just worried about our FA history with Zane still leaving a sour taste in my mouth although, Beechum still gets this year to prove he has rehabbed well and is over the injury. I guess a vet is always better than starting a rookie.
Are we going to use this thread as the Tag tracker? I think that makes a lot of sense.

Yes, Zeitler is still young and would be a big upgrade.
We can still draft a OL (if only Feeney could be there in the second...almost impossible I know) and develop him, I'm sure Marrone and Coughlin will invest resources to improve the trenches.
Same thing with JPP.
I realize being able to sign these players will be far from easy though even if they reach the market at all.
I agree with Deacon that this thread could be used as the tag tracker for these coming weeks.

Beachum proved that last year. We are keeping him at LT - hopefully all four years he is under contract. I even forgot about the ACL tear, but his concussion had something to do with that.
Your last statement makes no sense because our best defensive player last year was a rookie. It happens at every position in football.
A concussion caused an ACL tear? Wow.

Of course. Why not?
February 15 is the deadline.
Giants freeing up 7.5 mil with Cruz' release doesn't help us get JPP =/
And now 10 mil total saved with Cruz and Jennings releases...

wrong, March 1st is

I was trying, yet failed, at being sarcastic with that statement. Alot of ppl say starting rookie OLMen would be a mistake next year so it was moreso referring to that. The bad vibe i get is only from Zane at Guard and Joekel coming in and getting mutilated every week. A good vet or a solid rookie is GREAT. I just dont want any negative repeats.
Beachum is good in my book. I dont have any complaints at all about him, except for his off the field comments taking shots at fans.

This is one thing I find so annoying on the forum: people get stuck in the past and want to see glasses half empty based on that despite all the changes being made. We learned from those mistakes, cutting Zane Beadles and deciding not to exercise Luke Joeckel's fifth year option. Now we have a chance to get players who will fit the scheme and what coaches want them to do.
D6, what about Rieff for RT instead of Parnell.
No word yet on teams tagging players. Any predictions for who will be tagged first?

I think Riley Reiff would be an upgrade. Reiff doesn't stand out in any way but he's a physical player who is a total professional. Reiff has also played LT at an average level, which would give the Jaguars more flexibility. One major reason why the Lions didn't win the regular season finale against the Packers was Reiff was sidelined with a hip injury and Corey Robinson, his primary backup, was playing with a foot injury that landed him on IR before the start of the playoffs. I think it's around 50-50 whether the Lions and Reiff will work out a new contract.

Do you like him better on the left or right side? I remember reading Reiff was the LT when Detroit picked Decker and both players competed for the LT job. I love flexibility in linemen because very few teams keep the same 5 all 17 weeks.

I think he played pretty well at RT but D6 can further elaborate.
I remember him coming out of Iowa as a prospect that I liked.
