Quote:Hopefully they find another villain while trying to find Oliver. They'll need someone pretty powerful tho seeing that David is basically a God in training.
Lucky for us there is no real shortage of powerful mutants to call upon. Few are as insidious as Farooq though. Most tend to be more overt and direct in their ways outside of maybe the Hellfire Club (who was already used loosely in First Class). The Stepford Cukoos, in particular, would be awesome on this show...but that would require establishing their "mother" first and I just don't see them going there anytime soon.

I have a sneaking suspicion as to what's on deck next for David & Co based on the after credits scene. If I'm right, next season is going to be markedly different from the first and it would prevent any real resolution to the Farooq/Oliver conundrum with just the resources available to our remaining protagonists.

If every show was written, acted, directed and produced as well as this one I would never want to do anything except watch TV.

I really enjoyed the show and am very much looking forward to S2. The finale seemed a little underwhelming after the awesomeness that was episode 7 but I still loved it. Kudos to everyone involved with the show. It's going to be a very long year.

Not to derail, but I may be the last person to watch Luke Cage.  Enjoying that right now.  Better Call Saul is about to start again, too.  Then Fear Walking Dead, Deadliest Catch will take me into preseason... so TV set until it starts back.

I really liked Luke Cage. It took several episodes to get into it but I've watched the season twice now.

They absolutely nailed the actors. This show is one of my favorite Shows that I have watched in a while. Dan Stevens and Rachel Keller really nAiled their rolls. But Aubrey Plaza really makes the show for me. I loved her and parks and recreation's but what she does in this show is phenomenal Imo
