The irony being that had Shad Khan been able to buy the Rams, it may have all turned out differently. 

 

Worked out for us.

 

 When Stan Kroenke exercised his option to become majority owner of the Rams,  I thought it was in the best interest of St. Louis keeping the team long term.   Especially,  considering Kroenke's Missouri roots.  

 

Looking at the situation today,   there's no question that the vast majority of St. Louis Rams fans wish that Shad Khan was the team's owner.   

 

While I hate that St. Louis is in a situation in which they could lose another NFL team,  despite the product on the field the last decade being amongst the worst in the NFL,   it's great to see that Jacksonville's situation is looking much better regarding the Jaguars future.

Peacock also acknowledged Rams owner Stan Kroenke’s commitment to the Los Angeles market.

“It’s possible we have different ownership of the (Rams) because I think (Kroenke) is really committed to Los Angeles,” Peacock said. “I’m not against Stan going to Los Angeles, I just don’t want our team there... This is why we’re spending most of our time with the league — we think this is an NFL issue.”
