Could Dalvin Cook be used as a WR/RB..
|
I know he's a really good RB But what if say we draft this guy.. Utilize him in the passing game also..
Wouldn't that benefit this team more than Leonard Fournette.. Tell me what u guys think about this scenario.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
If you're saying, why can't he come in and line up at WR, then sure, why not.
I think Christian Mccaffrey is also a guy who can come in and line up at WR or RB.
Dalvin is an every down back by the looks of it. But I think if we did take him he'd be primarily the bell cow at RB. As he should be. He's an excellent runner with quick feet and quick first steps once he has the ball in his hands.
If we want a guy that can line up at WR/RB more fluidly and naturally. It would be Christian McCaffrey out of Stanford. I would be fine with him being here if they see him sitting on the board still in RD2. But I honestly have a feeling that a team like Green Bay or New England will be eyeing him towards the bottom of the first round. He's a good athlete. He's quick. Shifty. He has a good pedigree with his father having had a solid career in the NFL as well. Just seems to be the kind of player New England likes. And he would fit their system to a tee. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. He's a quick-twitch athlete, very elusive in the open field. His pedigree includes not only his father being an NFL WR, but also, his mother's father, who in 2010 was named Duke University Athlete of the Century (the 20th century of course). You can look him up. His name was Dave Sime. I'll be interested to see if McCaffrey inherited any of that speed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Sime We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! That's even more remarkable. I remember catching Ed's career towards the end of Elway's career in Denver. He was a big contributor for three years there. I keep seeing people shying away from him though by making the mistake of thinking Toby Gerhart was successful in Stanford too but never stepped up in the NFL. Toby's nowhere near the same athlete as Christian. Toby is much bigger, more of a pounder type in between the tackles. He wasn't nearly as quick, explosive or deadly in open space as Christian. I personally think he's going to be a solid player at the next level. Probably a Jordy Nelson type guy at a skill position that you don't expect to see anymore. That's why I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up in Green Bay knowing how bad they're health wise at the RB position or New England just because he fits them to a tee. And shame on us all if he does end up in the hands of Brady and Belichick for the next two or three years. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie?
