Your Choice of RB after Gurley & Gordon

#41

Quote:I have a strong feeling that Indy will take him at 29 if he's available and Gurley and Gordon is gone.

I thought about Indianapolis as well. But my gut feeling is they believe that Frank Gore and their returning RB's are enough for them to bypass Tevin Coleman in Round 1.   It wouldn't shock me if they drafted Coleman but my guess is they will end up addressing their Defense with the pick # 29 draft resource.    Right now,  I have them taking Eddie Goldman,  who would help them match up better against the Patriots running game.

Quote:Our RB coach was at his pro day. I'm sure he got the info he needed while there.

It's also worth pointing out that neither Marquise Lee nor Allen Robinson came in for visits last year. But just thought it was interesting that he wasn't invited in.

Watched it last night. Gordon and Ajayai are my second and third RB's. Both guys seem to have a good attitude and funny.

Well, I like Ajayi and Abdullah more than Gordon, but that wasn't an option

I know you have your reasons but I think your crazy to have those guys above Gordon.

I've been a huge fan of Gordon's for a while now but after going back and re-watching his cut ups he is in the same tier as Gurley to me. While I still think Gurley is slightly better (only because of his long speed compared to Gordon's) its not by much and both guys are clearly in my eyes better than the other RB's in the draft.

If we don't get Gurley or Gordon in the 1st with a trade down, I hope we wait until the 4th and take Buck Allen.

MJD was just asked who his favorite back was with Gurley and Gordon and he said Tevin Coleman.  Said those 3 stood out the most.  I agree, I really hope one of those 3 fall to our 2nd pick.

My top 3.

1. Gurley

2. Coleman

3. Gordon

I agree with both you and Mojo. That's how I would rank them too. I hope Coleman ends up being a Jaguar. I think he can be the impact, homerun, playmaking RB this team needs.
