Wal-Mart Surprises 2,200 Employees By Firing Them

These are the very stores where the workers went on strike for a higher wage

Wal-Mart Surprises 2,200 Employees By Firing Them

About 2,200 people will be looking for jobs now that five Wal-Mart stores in Texas, California, Florida and Oklahoma will be temporarily closed for “extended repairs” to their plumbing systems. Two of the stores are in Texas and one in each of the other states.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

Not surprising. Walmart fires/hires people without any thought or regard. Matter of fact, At Sams, they dont even hire until the seasonal period and only retain the 1 or 2 that sold the most plus memberships.

Anyone who works for them should be as faithful as they are.

Can't wait to see whats next.

I had a friend a long time ago who used to work for Walmart. It was around Thanksgiving time and Walmart was giving out turkeys to some of their employees as a "Thank You".. That was all cool and everything until he got his very next paycheck and found out that Walmart deducted the full price of the turkey from his check..

Nice eh?

Same here, but people in my area are limited in their choices.

At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.
