Sounds like we're going to roll with Brown as a starter for the time being. Probably will draft a FS in the 3rd or 4th round. I understand we were at Damarious Randall's pro day.

I saw it on Twitter a few days ago. Here's a link showing we have a visit set up with him as well. http://www.houseofsparky.com/2015/3/6/8163879/asu-football-pro-day-results-measurements-NFL-2015

So obviously the interest is real if we're using one of our allotted 30 visits to see a guy we already interacted with.

Especially, knee injuries. Louis Delmas is one of the most dedicated/ passionate players in the NFL. But there's only so much his body can take. Delmas doesn't exactly have one of the bigger frames for a Safety. When Delmas was with the Lions, he was held out of practice frequently in order to try to get him physically ready for Sundays. The downside is this led to Delmas getting out of position too often. I wish him the best but realistically, there are more efficient ways of using a 53 man roster spot at this stage of his career. I understand we were at Damarious Randall's pro day.As I said yesterday in that Holliman thread in college forums, Randall to develop for a year behind Sergio Brown would be the dream. I think we will have to take him at 36 though he is gaining massive steam. If we don't get him I hope for Ifo or Byron Jones in the 3rd or 4th. They're the only three FS (and heck Ifo and Jones would be FS converts) that get me going.
I don't think we pursue Gipson now that we didn't get Murray. I think our second round pick goes to a rb.

Quote:I don't think we pursue Gipson now that we didn't get Murray. I think our second round pick goes to a RB. Our failure to get Murray has nothing to do with Gipson. We can use the second round pick for someone who is not a running back anyway. Of course, getting Juilius Thomas decreases the chances our second pick will be a tight end.

Dave and Gus very likely could have thought, OK if we get Murray we'll be OK losing that second for Gipson, if we don't get Murray then we need to hold onto it so we can take our RB in the draft
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
