JPP is great against the run too so he'd start with Yannick on the otherside of him or just rotating.

I'm big on Yannick. The guy made plays for us. Other teams even took notice.


Even Malik Jackson got burned on running plays this season. Ngakoue is going to be a stud. His mindset and work ethic is crazy good and exactly what you want out of a young player.

If we get Allen then he'll be rotating. But I think Fowler will beat Yannick out next year.

Ngakoue won't get much better against the run than he is, and the only way for him to really shine is to minimize his role, the more he plays the more he will get exposed especially if we change schemes and he is asked to produce against the run more. But you will all see in time.

I've already gone over this. Fowler has the profile to be an elite rusher, Yannick does not have the profile to be a good run stopper. He has short arms and is seriously undersized as a defensive end. On top of that he just doesn't show a lot of "want to" in the run game. I'd place far more money on Fowler becoming a better pass rusher than Ngakoue improving as a run stopper.

Limited snaps for Jack then. Unless Poz is moved to SLB and Jack stays at MLB.. That might actually work better.

This isn't feasable for a couple reasons

 

1. Myles Jack has to play somewhere

2. I don't really see a need for it or how it helps him. Keep him at DE.

Was just a suggestion with the moving pieces. Here's some more


1. Poz is traded and Jack is MLB


2. We draft or sign a starting defensive end so it gives Fowler a starting position


3. Fowler seems to rush better thus far standing up and is going to be working with Von Miller this off season so giving him a chance to work standing up more may be beneficial


4. If the scheme is similar, we could move Jack to Cyp's position and have no concerns with tight ends and still keep Poz
