I don't mind cutting unnecessary items from the federal budget. 

 

What I do mind is starting a trade war with Mexico, which would damage our economy and raise prices for American consumers. 

 

I don't wish for a trade war but if this is peace, we are losing at it, and that is unacceptable.

Generally speaking, I am a free trader so keeping an open mind to me is not writing off this tariff idea from the start. I don't expect this to work but I hope I am wrong. The fix I would have gone for is fixing tax rates and regulations here, I think that would be enough.

Wow, I love that list for the most part. Actually shrinking the government? I never thought I would see the day.

 

Seriously so far President Trump is doing a marvelous job much better than I had feared from what candidate Trump has said.
