Why is it solely his responsibility to bring it up to authorities? And how does he fail when authorities did know about it at the time?

Solely his responsibility? No. But he's the main cog in the program. Everything runs through him, like it or not. That's how it works. He could have prevented many kids lives from being ruined. For what? Protecting friends, protecting the program?

It's funny though how he sarcastically asked the NCAA could his 12 wins be restored as well.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.
