Explain the retaliation? Explain why there is retaliation. Why? There shouldn't be any reason to retaliate if there's nothing to retaliate. I don't condone it by any means. But it's a reaction. A bad one, but maybe they're fed up. It's not a surprising reaction. Why did America bomb Germany? Did ALL Germans deserve that? Did it get results?

Outcry? I'm sure there will be. But I bet there won't be dancing in the street and handing out candy ... Like when the buildings came down.

Look. Making fun of something that is blasphemous to others is wrong. However, if you live in a place where these things are legal by free speech, then you must either accept it, try to change by legal ways or if it offends you so greatly, move. There are places that govern under religious law. Yet many flee there, migrate and don't like the laws, lifestyle etc. many protest, some even kill.

France banned the covering of faces. Result. Riots. This example does little to get respect and sympathy.

I've read most of the Quran. Many Hadiths. Many books on the subject. But I wouldn't know which one to go to that tells the truth. Some preach peace, others violence. so I base my opinions on my own interpretations. Sorry if I can't bring myself to believe all imams.

But the minute someone has a different viewpoint, out comes the bigot remark.

One can't expand their knowledge with blinders on, and resort to calling people idiots and bigots. When in doubt, call names. Typical.

I was profiled as a young kid, parents being immigrants. I swore I would never paint everyone with a broad brush.
I'm changing brushes. Until I see and hear outrage from the Muslim community, that their total disassociation from the radicals, my brush gets bigger. I'm not happy about it with my inner self, but I must let realism beat naivity.
