That's a lot more than the enemies of the U.S. and Israel would do.

And in the case of Hamas,  they use hospitals and schools for their terrorist operations.

Quote:Here's something to chew on. Every time you kill the kid of an innocent civilian who is in the kill zone of a strike intended to only take out terrorists, you create a new terrorist. I'm all for pre-emptively killing those who are plotting attacks against us or our allies. But you don't burn down your house to get rid of a few cockroaches. I'm hopeful these were precision strikes with no civilian casualties. But stop with the tough guy talk. It's ignorant.
What is ignorant it so think you can fight a sanitary war.  The US has always and will continue to do it's best to limit civilian casualties.  What you can't do is be paralyzed into inaction by the thought of an innocent life lost.  That mentality only prolongs conflicts and causes even more lost lives.

Well isn't that what the left leaning brain-dead would have you believe was the reason for being there in the first place? With over $2.5 trillion and counting spent with no reimbursement, I would tend to agree that perhaps we should have arranged a payback deal. By the way, POTUS never said anything about going back, he said, "we should have kept the oil."

The numbers of "innocent" civilians killed are pretty hard to pin down for one, the other people killed may often be co-conspirators. If you don't want to get blown up, don't go into a terrorists house.

Let's say that by some miracle we are able to ONLY kill the terrorists with our bombings. Wouldn't that just "create another terrorist" too? It's not like they live in a bubble, they got kids and wives too. Look, you're partly right that we will never totally defeat an ideology but that doesn't mean that we need to roll over and get soft about fighting it. If 9/11 taught us anything it is that giving these people operational footholds to plan and orchestrate attacks from leads to more attacks on us. I'm not concerned with their motivations and feelings, if they want to kill Americans, that's all we need to know.
