Devin Funchess, WR/TE, Michigan to enter draft

Per the Twitter-verse...

I am having problems linking it to here, but it was reported by Brian Hamilton of SI.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Will be an interesting prospect. Similar measurables to Kelvin Benjamin.

Funchess...Twitter-verse...it?!

Surely you're just making words up.

He's one pass catcher i wouldn't mind early in the draft.

I'd be surprised if he's not listed as a WR. Probably doesn't fall to our 2nd pick which where his value would be too good to pass on IMO.

Funchess is a big WR/TE. He could probably play both positions in the NFL, but would probably lean more towards TE because of his size, 6'5" 235.

Depends if he can play WR.  If he can run the routes and has the speed, then he's going to be a WR because that's where the money is.

Another player with similar height/weight is Darren Waller from Georgia Tech 6-5 232lbs with an expected 40 of 4.54

If Devin Funchess is not available is it possible we look at a guy like this late?

I understand that WR and TE have different skill sets but players can work on blocking, I mean we had a bust named Reggie that was pretty darn good at blocking.

As a Michigan fan, I can tell you he has a ton of potential and is enticing as a prospect but he did under achieve while there.  Not sure if it was him or just the mess of a staff though

It could have been the mess of qb's as well.

Kelvin Benjamin and Alshon Jeffrey underacheived in college too, didn't they? Funny because those are the 2 that I think of as pro comparisons for Funchess.

He probably goes in the 20s around where Kelvin did last year.
