Patriots @ Clots

Quote:Grigson nailed his first draft and the Davis trade was decent. Everything else awful.

They could do with Jerry Hughes back

Agreed. His entire 1st draft was one of the best drafts I've ever seen. Trading for Davis was great. He's dropped off since then. His re-signees were good decisions. Remember, when we first re-signed Reggie Wayne everyone was claiming (especially on this forum) was claiming that he was done and too old. Re-signing Mathis was great too (people claimed he didn't fit the system). Most of his free agent signees have been flops. He's been average. Not great, not terrible IMO.

Oh also, Jerry Hughes flat out sucked for the Colts.

Quote:Tell me again how Ryan Grigson is such a great GM, I really want to know! Especially considering how Luck is all by himself out there...

Never said he was great. For some reason, people on this forum like to make up stuff and then they honestly believe it as true. Kinda weird.

Draft. Free agency is a waste. Usually marginal players or washed up has beens enter the market.

Sure you can find a serviceable piece but usually they are just another guy. The NFL is loaded with just another guys!

Let's stay on topic here. The Pats proved they are the class of the conference and just how far away the clots are from being a true contender .

Trent Richardson : 1st Rd Pick

Jonas Gray : Undrafted

This is why the Colts will never win a championship with Luck. Luck is good enough, but his surrounding cast will never be enough

Quote:He's forced to. I'm not sure if you watched the game last night, but the Colts had absolutely no running game, and our defense couldn't stop the run to save their life.

Luck is the literally the least of the Colts' worries.

Run defense is pathetic, run offense is pathetic.

In fact if we're just talking Luck, last nights game proved even more to me that Luck is playing at a higher level than Brady. Brady was average overall last night. If the Colts could have just stopped the run SOMEWHAT (don't think I saw a run of less than 5 yards until the 4th quarter. Even then they were few and far between), would have been a totally different game. Everyone in my section was praying the Pats would start becoming pass happy... Would have gave us a better chance.

I disagree. Brady was taking what you guys were giving him. Gray was going to town, so they stuck with that the whole game. The reason he had two INTs is bc he didn't want to take a sack.

I was with you until the last sentence LOL.

I agree, Pats did exactly what they should have done by slamming it down our throats. We couldn't stop it, so they kept to it.

He had 2 INTs because he didn't want to take a sack? Uh.... a INT is a million times worse than a sack. If Brady was on his game he would of just taken the sacks. Guarantee you he'd tell you the exact same thing: he should have taken the sacks on those plays.
