I'm not saying the guy is irredeemable, or should be cut. It's possible his injury has been holding him back.


But based only on what he's done this year, nobody is going to give us anything for him.

I agree that Gerhart holds no real trade value, however, I do think he can be useful on offense. Unlike our other RBs, Gerhart is a true power back and should be used exclusively for when this particular role is required. I've seen Gerhart turn a run for no gain into six yards on brute strength. While I do feel that Shoelace has earned the starting role from here on, I also feel that Gerhart can provide the Jaguars a key threat in short yardage situations.
