Week 8 AP And Coaches Polls

#41

History tells us that the teams that can compete for a national title are the ones that have been competing for titles. Michigan State had a good year last year following a decade of irrelevance. This year they've played two good teams and went 1-1. Only Kansas State out of the top 20 has played an overall weaker schedule than them.

Oklahoma is legit.

TCU was 4-8 last year. Counting this year they are 3-8 against ranked teams since 2012. Everyone went crazy because they stomped some awful teams, beat a mediocre Minnesota and pulled one big upset. Smart money is not on them finishing in the top 10.

Georgia is one-dimensional and barring fluke circumstances, that kind of team doesn't beat the top balanced teams. Gurley might be good enough to do it on his own, he's that transcendent, but even you seem hesitant about putting them ahead of Alabama.

The only exception to that rule is teams that have been recruiting exceptionally well. Aside from Georgia, none of those programs are top recruiters. Sometimes a team breaks the mold, but in general the smart money is on the teams loaded with 4 and 5 star recruits that turn into NFL talent like Alabama, FSU, and Notre Dame.

Just because teams get up to play Notre Dame doesn't mean their not good. They've been consistently at our near the top for years and odds are they will be again this year.

You have to look at the schedule in the SEC-W to see who plays the biggest games at home. Its that easy. Mississippi has a real good chance. MSU has to play at Miss and Alabama. They will not get through that.

Auburn would have beaten MSU if not for a first quarter full of turnovers.Auburn was ranked 24th at this time last year(6th this year)with a off week. Just like this year. You forget about Auburn it will be your mistake.

Georgia,Alabama and Miss will be our 3 road games. The hardest of all schedules in the NFL Jr league SEC-W.

There's just no convincing this guy that Notre Dame isn't legit
