Week 4 Survivor Pick

#1

Chargers at home vs the Jaguars.

or

Colts at home vs the Titans.

I'm thinking everybody and their grandmother is going to be on the Chargers. I might fade that game in hopes that Blake Bortles has some 1st game (as a starter) magic. Thoughts?

take the bolts

* I just realized bolts could be mistaken as a typo of colts-- take SD

Kaishakunin for hire.

I'd go Colts at home against Whitehurst.  Either game is safe but at least this way you don't have to go against the Jags.  And if we happen to swing an upset, then it'll probably knock out more people than if the Titans somehow won.

For what it's worth,  I took the Colts in NFL Survivor for Week # 4.

Blake Bortles is too much of an X factor for me to take the Chargers in NFL Survivor against the Jaguars.  While the Chargers deserve to be the clear favorite in this game and I'm picking them to win the game,   it's hard to predict the level of impact Bortles will have.   The rookie QB looked like a special player in the pre-season.    If the Chargers don't bring their ' A' game,  they could regret it for a long time.

I'm still alive in my survivor pool.

Made it all the way to week 7 so far....not really all that big of a deal, but considering my performance in recent years in these type of pools I'll take it.

This week its really starting to get tough tho.

I'll still alive as well.  I was fortunate the Chargers held on to beat the Raiders this past Sunday.   I originally had the Bengals over the Panthers but the A.J. Green injury led me to select the Chargers.

Based on the 6 teams I used already,  I'm currently leaning towards taking Arizona over Oakland in week # 7.   Bruce Arians consistently finds ways to win games despite key injuries and suspensions.

Haha, I was pulling hard for the Raiders to pull off that upset. It would have pretty much knocked out at least half the remaining people in the pool.

Personally, looking forward, I will most likely being going with these picks:

Week 7: New England vs NY Jets

Week 8: Dallas vs Washington

Week 9: Seattle vs Oakland

These teams are teams I've already picked:

Week 1: Detroit

Week 2: Green Bay

Week 3: New Orleans

Week 4: Indy

Week 5: Denver

Week 6: Cincy

It's very possible.

-Divisional game

-Thursday night football

-Jets have come close to pulling off some upsets lately

But IMO, it's the safest pick available. Got any other suggestions?

You squeaked by if you did take the Pats.

Yup. That was intense.

Ended up being a good pick, though, because now I move on and still have Seattle in my holster. The majority of people left (Started at 124, down to 24) are on Seattle this week.
