Vic Beasley

#1

After watching Beasley wreak havoc on the Seminoles offensive line, he's got to be considered one of the top targets for the Jaguars 1st round pick next year. He looks like the perfect Leo for this defense. If the Jaguars keep playing like they did the past 6 quarters, they should have a top 5 pick and this is my top choice right now. He would be a true difference-maker on defense,

Beasley whooped Cameron Erving last night. But he's disappeared in some big games too. He was neutralized against FSU last year and Georgia earlier this year.

Beasley did look good against FSU but he hasn't done much in the previous 3 games and didn't do anything against Georgia

He's a bit of a tweener which makes me nervous. Better suited as a 3-4 OLB. Although im not sure if Clemson runs a 3-4 or 4-3 so forgive me if they are a 3-4 defense

Nope, they run a 4-3.. But you are right, I think Vic is a bit undersized to play DE in a 4-3. That's why he has a tendency to disappear. Same thing happened with Andre Branch, which was why I was against drafting him. I think Vic is a little better than Andre, a little more polished and he has some pretty nice pass rush moves, but he still struggles in run support
