Are you really that oblivious? There could be a Ft. Lauderdale style attack every Monday, a Sandy Hook attack every Wednesday and a Pulse attack every Saturday and the NRA would still see no need to change any existing laws. They have a lock on the majority of decision makers in Congress. Nothing is changing with our gun laws, certainly not the law that allowed this to happen. It's moronic and sad, but we have made it so common sense changes are an attack on the Second Amendment.

The laws aren't the problem, it's the lawbreakers who buy and sell guns on the down low, the parents who don't secure their guns properly, the bouncers who don't do full pat downs, etc.

1.  Several pro 2nd Amendment advocates have stated that they were under the impression that THIS "common sense" procedure was already in effect.  

2.  Exactly what do you consider common sense changes to the 2nd Amendment?  

3.  As a preemptive rebuttal, how do you justify taking away the rights of law abiding citizens because law breaking citizens?

4.  Finally, the NRA is in favor of enforcing existing laws on the books that are currently being ignored.  Can we agree to start there?
