I spoke to someone tonight who has been critical of just about every move this team has made over the past several years. It's become a silent agreement we won't talk about the Jaguars because I find the constant negativity draining.


Tonight he brought up Bortles, and I was shocked to hear him say that he thinks the team got themselves a guy who is going to wind up being a top tier QB.


People are starting to recognize this team is making good moves. This guy gave up his tickets years ago. For the first time since then, he's considering buying tickets again. It's interesting to see people starting to take note of this team, especially when they've been doing anything but that for a while. Good things are coming.

Amen.


I ordered a Bortles shirt right after the draft and wore it around a few Jets fans and got COMPLETELY laughed at.. Like burst out loud laughing at my shirt...


Saw them yesterday.. And they kept asking me why he wasn't starting. Things changed pretty quick

That's great to read about FBT. I'm hoping on-the-fencers and those who flat out gave up will wake up and smell the Gus Juice and also see that the organization and team are building something special here. Having Bortles on board is what will wake them up. We have truly suffered through the years. I can't wait to celebrate!

LOL.  It was interesting at work on Friday listening to people comment on the Jaguars losing the 4th preseason game.  When has the score really mattered in preseason?

It doesn't matter as there will always be some Jagwhiners out there complaining about something, it's what they do and they are very good at it.

 

There has only been 1 team in NFL history to go undefeated and that will probably be the case for a very long time going forward, maybe forever, in today's NFL.

 

The last great team to nearly go undefeated made it all the way to the SB, before finally losing to the underdog and they were an awesome team, one of the best offensive teams in the history of the NFL, if not the best ever.

 

Who cares what the Jagwhiners have to complain about, they are just a negative bunch of whatever you want to call them, (just don't call them true fans), who will never be happy when it comes to the Jags, unless they will the SB.

 

To all the rest of the fans, let's just enjoy the ride, as this time it looks like it might be the start of another special time in Jaguar's history.

 

At least that's what we are all hoping for, esp after what we had to endure after the last several seasons.

The Colts are notorious for either going win-less or maybe winning a game in the preseason and all they did was keep on winning the division and making the playoffs.

 

Yeah, preseason wins and losses really matter don't they.
