Quote:Sorry. I assume people are tacks fans when they bring up ticket sales and london, and use the wrong version of 'there' That's a fair point as I hate it when people use the wrong there/their too. Feeling quite foolish now
Obummer's rating is now as low as GWB's ever was, not that you'd know from our media.
It's hard to rate an administration when the watch dogs are actually the cheer leaders. ![]() “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

I wonder what they're counting as a report, because every time I hear a story on the radio about the upcoming election they mention how low Obama's approval rating is and how he's the reason that he democrats won't be able to even hold the senate after this election.

He's been a disappointment and most liberals think that. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Yes, the big difference between Obama and Bush is that the partisanship and negative media slant against Obama has been ongoing for years and never subsided, while liberals hated Bush but always respected the political process, so the reports on Bush's low approval ratings were actually coverage of something that wasn't already permeating national media.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

At least that is my recollection. To my point though, I was referring to the hard line slant of some people in their perceptions of the other party and it's supporters. It works both ways and the left did it with Bush also, IMO
Quote:Ehhhhh the leftist media blasted Bush just as hard as the conservative media is blasting Obama. At least that is my recollection. I remember it quite differently. The coverage of Bush wasn't partisan, but Bush did a ton of things wrong. He had 9-11 on his watch, he took the US into a quagmire war, he had the subprime bubble on his watch, Katrina and Brownie doing a heck of a job, it just goes on and on. Obama got the ACA done, caught Osama, and took the US out of the quagmire wars. The coverage is still decidedly negative on him, though. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:I remember it quite differently. He was barely in office when 9/11 took place. And Clinton had an opportunity to take Bin Laden out, and didn't do it. ACA was terrible, and Obama got us into even more wars. The coverage of him is decidedly more positive on him.

Quote:He was barely in office when 9/11 took place. And Clinton had an opportunity to take Bin Laden out, and didn't do it. Bush had opportunities to take Osama out, too. Why are you trying to pin the Bush administration's failings on someone else? Obama got the US into more wars than the decade of Afghanistan and seven years of Iraq? Doc, you're experiencing some delusions here. Obama has by no means been a great president, but compared to the dumpster fire that the Bush administration was he comes away smelling like roses.
Hmm....
Lets take a look at Obama's list off of the top of my head. No particular order. Cash for Clunkers....a Clunker Shovel Ready Jobs...not so much "Summer of Recovery"....still waiting "Focused like a laser on jobs"....that is one crappy laser Fast and Furious ....shipping guns the drug cartels, not too cool. IRS scandal, destroyed computers, lost emails, etc...just the tip of the iceberg here. Thousands and thousands of illegals crossing the border...the respiratory illness brought in by the illegals is just the beginning. Horrible economy, high unemployment, high gas prices, record number of folks on food stamps....six years in office? Swapping one American deserter for FIVE high ranking Taliban leaders...damn I would like to play poker with Obama some time. "Reset Button" with Russia...that's working out just fine. Are we at war with ISIS or ISIL?....Kerry says no, then maybe. White House says yes, but not really. That is solid policy right there. No boots on the ground...I guess all those advisors are wearing tennis shoes or maybe flip flops I could go on and on but what the use. Anyone that still believes Obama is doing a good job is beyond reaching at this point.
Quote:Hmm....Dont forget flying home over 4,000 from Iraq. That had to cost a bit of money. And those coffins? Benefits paid out? But those are sacrifices we must make for...for..for..I forget what for. We have two POTUS' that are hardly the best leaders we have had. Both re -elected to office. 'Murica.
