It really does seem like that. I especially liked how Gus said "hell of a job" to Dave. It sounded like Bortles was their pick for quite sometime.
Well he has some really good qualities
-Huge guy. He has a big ben build -Good pocket awarness -Toughness -Good leadership skills -Good arm. Does not have a rocket arm but he can work on it Time will tell if he is the best Qb in this class. They picked their guy and ran with it. I respect them to stick to their guns. They really like him. You can see guys in the room nodding in excitement and guys saying "Oh yeah" when they say Blake Bortles.
This a huge pick, a game changer.
All his qualities are good. The only knock is his release. Other than that he's cool as a cat under pressure and is a stud.

While it's no secret that I will need A LOT of warming up to this pick, that line alone shows me that Caldwell is THE MAN! He says it like it is, and if he believes that strongly in Bortles, maybe I had better open my mind up a little bit. Trashing the ESPN media over commercial breaks just put it over the top for me. Caldwell is a bona-fide witch, and if he picked Bortles, I had better get on board.
