The Cult unfortunately did not play Fire Woman. I thought they were going to come out for an encore and play it but I think too many people left for the other stage for the next band. They did play Sanctuary though.

I've heard of three of those groups.

Quote:How were the Cult received otherwise?....I 'll bet a lot of the younger kids were like...."they suck" what are they doing there... right?

Nothing apparently...seems like the quote you responded to and are criticizing was spot on, considering the quote below....(not that thats unusual).

To be fair and honest, I didn't hear anyone complain about the the Cult, but there were 4 stages and bands would alternate what stage they were on so anyone that didn't care to hear a particular band could just wait at another stage. No need to hang around a specific area and complain about a band you don't like. I could be wrong on the Cult potentially doing an encore. Korn, the headliner, didn't do an encore Sunday night. Rob Zombie did an encore though.

We have a problem with residents across the river complaining about concert noise level so I think concert organizers are concerned about bands going on too late into the evening. Overall though, it was a great show/festival for Jacksonville. It would be nice to have a large amphitheater there or somewhere else in or around the city though. I enjoy going to shows in West Palm Beach for instance, where they have a nice big amphitheater. St. Augustine has a decent smaller amphitheater.
