Not sure what the date range is on the sample size, but I assume it includes a good bit of the leadup to last year's draft. Which would explain Geno Smith/Manti Teo. Also probably the time leading up to Wiggins college committment. I doubt if you pulled current data that any of the three would appear.

 

I also assume the Kobe searches spiked after his injury last year. Same with Derrick Rose.

I was wondering this too, but then seeing Russell Wilson's name makes me think it was a bit more recent, like closer to his Superbowl win maybe? Maybe I'm wrong tho, maybe he's been the most popular in that state for a while....
