Quote:In 2001 Atlanta traded away picks #5 and #67, as well as a 2nd round pick the following year to move up to #1 and select Michael Vick. If we could keep our 2nd next year I wouldn't mind this. I hate the idea of trading next years picks.

Nothing being reported can be taken as fact. Even information regarding us can't be. Every team is trying to cause doubts about their direction. I'm not sure how much the #1 pick deception matters, but I'm taking everything said with a grain of salt. We'll find out soon though ![]() GO JAGS!!
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

I would much prefer to not have to give up a pick next year as well, I was just comparing it to another trade that happened for a #1 overall pick. Like I said if the team believes Clowney is everything he talked up to be (a true once in a decade player), then it would be well worth trading our #3, #70 and a 2nd round pick next year to move up and grab him. Quote:No trading up at all. Not with next years picks or this years. I agree to an extent. Clowney is perhaps the only player in this draft I would consider trading up for. If a couple players with first round grades make it to pick #39 I would then possibly consider a trade back to help recoup the pick(s) lost for getting Clowney.

I just have a feeling he's a guy that's going to exceed expectations from the naysayers. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
