It's going to be so weird if MJD gets signed elsewhere today.

Quote:Who said my opinion on that is just about the holdout?

I'm not sure his play was at an elite level long enough that should earn him that honor.

Our QBs and offensive line totally sucked the past few years.   You could take Emmit Smith, Gale Sayers, Adrian Peterson, and Jim Brown (all in their prime) and rotate them in and out behind Gabbert, Henne, and the 59 year old Brad Meester and they couldn't get a combined 1,000 yards rushing last season.   WE TOTALLY SUCKED.  It wasn't MJD, Toddman, or any other RB deficiencies ..... our QB and OLine play as a whole was the worst in the NFL.

Quote:Got my MJD jersey on. He was my favourite player when I started watching the Jags and was our best player for quite a while.

MJD has been the Jags best and most recognizable player for several seasons now, even as his production has declined.

I have no idea who is going to replace him as the best and most recognizable player. None.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I think Mad Dog 20/20 started hitting his free agency bottle a little early today.  He's primed and ready for another season !!!   HOLD ON TIGHT, THINGS ARE GETTING READY TO GET FUN AROUND HERE !!!!

BASHING PLAYERS ON THE WAY IN ..... AND .... BASHING PLAYERS ON THEIR WAY OUT !!!

There was only 1 constant over the Shack and Gene years.  That one constant was the MJD was going to show up and give 110% on each play.  He was our Barry Sanders.

I don't see him making it. Everyone says so now because he's fresh on everyone's minds...but then out of sight-out of mind kicks in.

I'd put him in. It won't happen for a while though.

There's a report on NFL.com that has the jets "showing serious interest" in MJD

I won't accept that he is gone until the day it's official that he has signed with another team. He is probably my favorite Jaguar of all time after Jimmy Smith. It was like a punch in the teeth when he retired as well. He and Fred Taylor were the only Jags that I were legitimately sorry to see go. MJD will join that list.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

Running backs ----- Get them. Run them into the ground for a few years. Let them go. Rinse, lather, repeat.

(That hurt to say because Freddy is my all time favorite Jaguar)

He does know how to go to his knees on their turf, after all....

Yep, I still hold a grudge from the holdout and subsequent sub par play since.

God you're a moron. It's been years since I joined here and I still wonder just exactly why a person, who is so clearly not a fan of the team, is still on the MB. Just go already, you won't be missed. MJD however will be missed.

The Jags may have offered MJD the same contract that was given to Gerhart. If he is looking for more on the open market he's going to be highly disappointed.

So, at this point is his contract expired?

What happens if he gets no other offers? Do we have an offer to him?

or does DC wait until no one shows an interest or contract?
