After a weak combine, any chance we take him in the 2nd?

He tore it up at Tech. Pretty nice guy.. Had the chance to meet him a couple times albeit he was drunk.

I hope the Jags avoid this player (Amaro).

The TE metrics show Amaro to not be what you really want. He's not a "seam-buster" like Troy Niklas.

...Ebron is more of the seam-buster type as well, but his drop % is alarming.

Troy Niklas, please!

. He did drop a lot of passes. When he did catch it he made some good plays though.

Niklas will give you everything Ebron does receiving-wise, and do it more consistently, and be a better blocker as well.

Niklas was underutilized in ND.

He will be a stud TE in the NFL. Some team is going to get a bargain by drafting him.

Love jace, think he will benefit if he gets picked up by a team like the patriots. Wouldn't mind at all if we went that direction especially if we want to draft a QB at three, as I think he would be a good consistent target for all the short throws that fisch loves to throw,,

However I would prefer a pass rusher if there is a good one available.

Patric Young from Florida, haha. Basketball player turned football star, we are about due aren't we?

Ebron, ASJ, Amaro, Niklas, any of those guys would be great for us if they slip to 39.

ASJ could fall quite a bit farther even after his foot surgery. Could be a third or maaaaaybe even 4th round steal I think.

I'd rather have Niklas than ASJ post foot surgery. You don't know how he'll recover. He might be just as good as new, but why take that chance when you could just take what I think will be a stud TE in his own right, in Niklas, whose healthy.

I don't see ASJ available at our 3rd rounder anyway.

Niklas is my 3rd TE ahead of ASJ (even before the surgery), but ASJ in the 3rd is better than Niklas at 39. At the same price though I would have always said Niklas.
