Bridgewater has been at the top of the mocks for a long time.....but since the combine, things have changed. In 12 of today's mock drafts, Manziel is picked ahead of Bridgewater 8 out of the 12. Personally, I want Clowney and my 2nd choice is a toss up between Mack and Watkins.

 

I can virtually guarantee you that scouts and GMs aren't moving players all over their big boards due to the combine the way the media does.  The combine breaks ties for rankings.  If you liked two guys equally, and one interviews better or his old injury checks out or his 40 is way better, you rank him a half-step ahead.

I just can't stand the way some people on here act like Teddy is the second coming of Christ himself.. If the Jags do take Manziel, better go to your local stock broker and invest in razor blades and pharmaceuticals.. Instant millionaire..

Teddy definitely isn't pure garbage..  I for one am on the Manziel bus. I prefer Manziel over Teddy any day of the week, but if the Jags draft Teddy, I'll be right there on board with the Teddy bus.. You have some people on this board who absolutely REFUSE to acknowledge that drafting Teddy is only speculation right now, just like any other player like Manziel and if Teddy isn't going to be drafted by the Jags, these people are going to cry like the pansy little girls that they are because their flavor of the month isn't a Jaguar.. Those are the people I'm talking about..

Maybe he thinks our front office is focusing more on taking the best player no matter who it is rather than just going with a QB. Not gonna lie but I would be a little bummed if we take Mack over Teddy.

 

I am usually pretty good at predicting where teams will go in the draft but with this draft I have no idea. There are so many good prospects, no Lucks, and so many teams have numerous holes to fill.

If our GM took Mack here, that's a pretty good indication to me that none of these top QBs are expected to be better than what we have now.  I wouldn't be upset since they should obviously be looking at film and really breaking down each prospect.  They still need to at least take a shot on someone though in the top 3 rounds.

The combine should not have changed anyones opinions, if anything Manziel was slower than I expected him to be. and he didn't throw so I'm not sure how that could push him up?
