Revis could be available for trade?

#21

Quote:You bring up an interesting scenario...

Lets say that Bridgewater is available at our pick and the Bucs come calling wanting to trade up for him. They offer Revis, a 2nd, 5th, and 6th round pick to swap.

Would you take it assuming Revis will restructure his contract?
1. That won't happen.

2. I'd only consider if they tossed their first round pick in there somewhere. A trade back four spaces for Revis, sure. Dropping out of one entirely? No.

3. I don't think Revis has much to offer. Maybe he becomes a bounce-back guy, but it looked like Revis Island had been closed for business much of last season. If the Bucs are trying to trade him away, it's a sign that they know they made a huge mistake. Let someone else be the fool who gets them off the hook.

Quote:In my scenario I didn't say give up the #3 pick entirely. I said swap it with the #7. So we are only moving back 4 spots and still remain in the top 10 of the draft and also gain an extra 2nd, 5th and 6th along with a shutdown CB.

Ok, when you put it that way, it definitely won't happen. No way do the Bucs give up the farm like that, and I don't think the Jaguars' FO would want Revis anyway.
