Because he wasn't the second coming of peyton manning.  So therefore he can't be elite.

against the number 3 draft pick? I don't get it especially with today's NFL where the success and failures of a franchise is depended on the quarterback position. It's the one position on the team that I don't fix with a Band-Aid and for people who are waiting for the Andrew luck type prospect will be waiting forever because they are once in a generation talent. So why people shouting out Jimmy G, David Fales, or AJ "pistol pete" McCarron with our later draft picks so we can get a pass rusher in the first round just please give me Teddy B, Blake Brotles, or Johnny Football with the number 3 pick because I think they can upgrade this team in a heartbeat.  

I am not against drafting a QB in this draft but I am against it at 3rd overall.  I think the 3rd overall or higher pick should go to a player that can come in right away and be a factor, a player that you hope will be a pro bowler eventually and if you are lucky enough maybe even a hall of fame player.

 

I think at this point many think Clowney might be that guy.  Sure you hear how great Teddy is at QB, but we have seen so many QBs fail.. only a few have almost certain promise like Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, etc. beside Teddy will most likely be drafted 1st overall due to their need at QB.  The question is will the Rams take another great DE?

No matter what position we fix at #3, that guy must be able to start and play at a high level right away.

 

If you think Teddy Bridgewater should not be #3 overall, you must not be paying attention. Everyone is saying he is the most NFL-ready quarterback.
