Did they ever finish the 295 loop around Jacksonville?

The project will carry three lanes of traffic each direction through downtown where there are now two.  There will also be dedicated lanes for the downtown exits with a concrete divider much like the recently completed section of 295 at Blanding.

 

Nobody likes the inconvenience of construction but love it when complete.  The future traffic projections warrant the project which for a three year project has to start now.
