No we don't. The Rams extended Sam Bradford's contract, so they don't need a quarterback. Caldwell knows if the Browns or Raiders leapfrog us, he can pick somebody who is not a quarterbacn and we will still get much better at one position.

He got the job in Denver at age 32 and was given too much power. He was the one who traded up to draft Tim Tebow, not the general manager. The Browns are not going to let that happen, no matter who they hire.

i didnt read the whole thread, but i read on twitter that texans are shopping the number 1 overall pick. im assuming theyre eyeing either manziel or bortles and know they can get them later and can gain some picks in the deal. hope the jaguars make a move. TB needs to be in jax!!

Anyone think due to his ties with Obrien that the Texans select Clowney first overall and then trade up in the back end of the first for Bortles? Wishful thinking if we want Bridgewater. Thoughts?

There would be absolutely no reason to trade up.  Unless it's Clowney, there wouldn't be a guy worth trading up for.

Hmm.  Bortles is the only one I'd think would have a top 10 grade, factoring out the built-in QB inflation factor.  But that's just me, and I'm no GM or scout.

Although, you're entitled to your opinion about whether Bridgewater is worth trading up to the #2 spot for, I think you'll find that you're in the minority.
