One of the great heroes of WWII and "the father of modern computing" has FINALLY been pardoned by the British.  

 

My question is, why does it take until the end of 2013 to do this?

Seriously? Aren't there enough problems in England to worry about? The man selfishly committed suicide nearly 60 years ago, what does this do to help anything now?

 

Where was the outcry when Hitler rounded up homosexuals by the thousands and either starved them in concentration camps or gassed them before they had time to starve?!?!

I 100% agree.

 

Can we ever find the time to exonerate, or make amends for all the wrongly persecuted people in history?

 

Probably not, but that shouldn't stop us from trying.
