I havnt watched any Pitt. games this year but what do you guys think about AD.  I know we have our 3 tech in Marks but how good is this guy?  If Marks leaves else where for more money or they think Donald came be an All Pro DT


 

The Pittsburgh senior defensive tackle won the Bronko Nagurski award given to the nation's top college defensive player.

The 6-foot, 285-pound Donald was presented the award at a ceremony Monday night in Charlotte.

The ACC Defensive Player of the Year, Donald averaged 2.2 tackles for loss per game while ranking 10th in forced fumbles and 13th in sacks per game.

He had 28½ sacks for his career with one game left to play.

 

  

He also won the was named the recipient of this year's Lombardi Award, given to the best college football linemen on either offense or defense.  Also won the Lombardy award Outstanding lineman or linebacker.  Also won the Bednarik award Defensive player of the year, Outland trophy-Best offensive of defensive interior lineman, and the ACC defensive player of the year.  Dude trophy case is full after this year.

I havnt seen him in any mocks going in the first and CBS has him at 52 overall and projected mid to late 2nd.

I could easily be off base as I don't watch much college ball - but the blurbs I've read and clips I've seen lead me to think he might sneak into the first - but I'm certainly no authority on DT draft prospects.

Unless we somehow don't manage to lock up Marks, I doubt we draft a DT until late day 3. But if he falls past round 2 it will be a steal! His height will make him fall out of the first imo.

Considering that he's leading the country in sacks (1.6 per game) and tackles for loss (2.4), Donald might just be the most under-appreciated NFL prospect in college football. Sure, he isn't as big as most defensive linemen, but as he demonstrated with two sacks and three tackles for loss vs. Virginia Tech and big, mobile quarterback Logan Thomas, what a stick of dynamite may lack for in size can be made up with explosiveness.

how is life in Chicago? I thought you were gonna be good man. I can't believe you can't beat out those bum QBs in Chicago.
