Tom Brady and the Patriots rip the hearts out of yet another lowly NFL team.

Quote:Actually I think the Rams have picked up some pretty good D-linemen along the way with their high picks....

THe reason they've never totally turned the corner is........wait for it........the lack of a franchise QB. Bradford isn't one. He's at best a game manager type.

They should have stayed pat, and taken RG3 ... Or at least Wilson later.

Fisher would have used him (RG3) way better than Shanahan, if nothing more than a far better game manager (if that is what Fisher wants in a QB).

RG3 is being wasted on the Redskins (imo).

Quote:Cincinnati's RB appeared to be tripped in the back field by a diving Colts defender which caused him to stumble and fall and then bounce into the endzone. It looked questionable, but honestly, from what I remember, it wasn't clear evidence that the defender touched him. You saw a dive and then the hand swipe but I saw no contact, although there could have been, the camera angle didnt appear to show any

The call on the field trumps anything other than 100% positive proof. The call was reversed without 100% definitive proof. Per the NFL rules, the ball should have been a change of possession on downs. It should have been Colts ball, but Triplette reversed the call without it being confirmed per the rules.

Meh, people are falible, we all screw something up. Triplette is known for a few screw ups, so am I. , but he should have known the rule is about seeing absolute proof of confirmation when reversing a call on the field. I have no idea what happened, and I am sure he will have to answer to someone above him like the rest of us.

So...we should just reduce the number of games to 8 a season since everyone should just lay down and tank the last 8 if they're not doing well?

Just so they get high picks?

The pats lucked out and got a 6th rounder named brady and went from the dumps to domination, they bank picks without worrying about how high they are, they just get a lot of them and pick wisely.

And I don't like the pats  AT ALL.  But seems to work for them...along with videos and spying lol. (sarcasm)
