How much did he help his draft stock tonight? Mid 1st rounder?

Not much. And no.

Maybe he sneaks into the second round if a team falls forhim.

Mid first rounder? Ha...no. I don't see an NFL arm at all.

Hell, there's nothing NFL about Gabbert and he was a top 10 pick. Stranger things have happened.

Gabbert was big, had a very strong arm, and was fast.

Murray is none of those things.

Gabbert had every measurable you want in a QB. Murray is a nice college QB. There have been hundreds before him that don't make it in the NFL. He could end up being a solid backup for some team like a Chase Daniel or Matt Moore. But I don't think he can be an NFL starter.

Gabbert has NFL velocity and height.  (but that's it)  Exactly the 2 things Murray lacks.

If Murray had Gabbert's velocity and height he'd be a good prospect.

Jags, Bucs, Vikings, Browns, Eagles, Cardinals,Rams, Texans, and possibly Raiders/Steelers need a QB. Someone will reach for him.

Possibly. He could easily be the 7th or 8th quarterback drafted.

Sure. In the 2nd round.

No way the Steelers use a first rounder on a QB. Same with the Raiders.

Exactly.

He had like 20 yards passing in the second half. They scored 6 points in the last three and a half quarters of the game, including zero after the half.

2nd or 3rd it's very rare a QB shorter than 6'2 goes in the first unless he has an outstanding quality about him.

What did he do? Throw to some open guys across the middle of the field and get shut out in the 2nd half, he is what he is at this point a 3rd - 5th round pick

This

You have to be a Mike Vick type freak athlete with a huge arm to go in the first round if your 6'1 and under at QB

Not much. No. More like 3rd round. If someone reaches, maybe late second tbh.

First round? No chance.

He'll probably be the fourth quarterback drafted out his own conference whose last name begins with "M".

I've watched several video strings of Murray.

He has a fine arm. Good, tight spirals with relative accuracy. His best throwing attribute is a quick release. A major draw-back is about 95% of his plays are out of the shot-gun formation. As we all know the pro game is predominantly run with the quarterback under center. The few plays I saw Murray from under center seem to indicate a few negative things about his grasp of the offense and defensive reads.

By comparison, relating to best player available, Murray right now is projecting as a second to third round draft pick.
