Don't forget about Minnesota

Two of their losses were to Minnesota and Oakland. If you can't beat them, you really suck.

So in your opinion, what does that say about NYJ, the team that lost to a team that couldn't beat Oakland or Minnesota?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

The same opinion I had last year about them: They need a new coaching staff.

They need a new QB and a number 1 WR

They have a new quarterback, but the idiot Rex Ryan said he is only starting because Mark Sanchez is hurt. Mark Brunell said Sanchez needs a change of scenery and I agree with that.

The worst team in the AFC East is still Buffalo.

Quote:The last one is irrelevant. We all know the Steelers are worse than the Jets.

One thing is for sure, both divisions suck.

It's not irrelevant.     There's not enough separating the Jets and Steelers at this time that one can conclude that the Jets are clearly better than the Steelers at this time.         Considering one thing.   The Steelers were much more competitive on the road in Cincinnati than the Jets were.

Quote:Actually D6, the Bengals are 3-0 vs the AFC East. They beat the Bills already in Buffalo. If Cincy can defeat Miami tomorrow night, they will have completed a Sweep of the AFC East.

I know because I am an avid Bengals fan. I go to quite a few of their games, and watch them on TV when I can't attend. I will say, the game between Lions/Bengals was an exciting one. Lions seemed to have the ball forever on a few drives. Watching both Calvin Johnson and AJ Green that day was a special treat. Megatron pulling down that jump ball for a TD (with 3 Bengals around him) was just amazing.

Thanks for the correction,   jagherd.

Congrats on the Bengals win over the Lions.      It was indeed an exciting game.     The combined show that Calvin Johnson and A.J. Green put on 11 days ago was one of the best I've seen from 2 WR's in the same game.    In another thread,   I expressed the opinion that A.J. Green is now the 2nd best WR in the NFL.    Both WR's are class acts and have the same trainer.   I thought the difference in the game was two Special Teams plays  (  blocked FG by Carlos Dunlap and short punt by Sam Martin that set up the game winning 54 yard FG )   and the Bengals getting more pressure on Matthew Stafford than the Lions did on Andy Dalton.    While the Bengals didn't record a sack that afternoon,    Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap made their presence felt more so than any pair of Defensive Line have against the Lions in the first half of the season.

I'm very impressed by the Bengals,   both from a personnel standpoint and a coaching standpoint.       Marvin Lewis has excellent coordinators and top flight line coaches.      The Bengals Offensive and Defensive Line are elite.     Probably the only glaring issue that I noticed with the Bengals is they need to find someone who can cover highly skilled RB's out of the backfield like Reggie Bush.      Otherwise,  when Andy Dalton is playing well,   this team clearly is Super Bowl caliber.

Quote:I hate the Ravens too because I grew up in central Ohio, where Browns fans stopped watching NFL games altogether after the move to Baltimore. But I don't like either team in that state.

Back on topic, Minnesota has the benefit of not playing against the Saints twice.

Cleveland was able to keep the nickname,   team colors,  and their history.    That's a combination that no other NFL,  MLB,  or NBA city was able to keep.       The only thing Browns fans can complain about regarding the move to Baltimore is the Cleveland Browns didn't field a team in 1996,  1997,  and 1998.    Otherwise,   their fan base is very fortunate.     Even with the mostly losing football since the Browns came back in the NFL in 1999.

Rex Ryan and his staff are 4-4 with a rookie QB,   nothing remotely close to a # 1 WR,  and   relatively ordinary RB's.       All things considered,   this coaching staff has done a very good job.

Oh, I didn't realize Calvin and AJ had the same trainer. That's really cool.

And, yes, I believe the Bengals are a Superbowl caliber team too when Dalton is playing well. He's been very good the past few weeks.

Unfortunately, not all Browns fans see it that way. A former supervisor at my last job said he does not like the NFL anymore "because they are all crooks" for allowing that move to Baltimore. The lady who fostered one of my cats stopped watching football altogether, including Ohio State, because of it.

If Mark Sanchez had not been put on IR/DTR, Geno Smith would still be the backup. Rex Ryan said Sanchez will be the starter again whenever he is cleared to play. That is not doing a very good job because Sanchez sucks.
