It was before.. Just another thing I was right about and the Texans' organization was wrong about...  Oh well, at least they finally put Wally Pipp on the sideline.

It is a pretty fascinating "local boy" dynamic.

lol, yeah he's H town's version of Rocky Balboa

 

I'm not a UofH fan (which is what you'll get accused of being on Texan boards if you have anything positive to say about Case), I'm a UT fan (and during the 2006 draft I was still against the drafting of VY), but since preseason I've been begging for this move.  Keenum is the best QB on Houston's roster, even Texan players are singing praises about his leadership and ability. (Let's put it this way.. if you're a Colts fan, this is BAD NEWS)  This move needed to happen and I'm glad it's happening now.. I'm going to LOL when a UDFA outplays the #1 ovrl pick from his own draft class in a nationally televised game.  Houston's season is for all intents and purposes over, but if this losing season leads us to find our long term answer at QB, then it was a successful season.  Case being the answer not only solves our answers at QB, but it also solves all their cap questions going forward. Cutting Schaub after this season gives this team extreme flexibility moving forward.

I'll admit I didn't really know much about him other than what I read.  From that I just gathered that he was another Tommy Chang/Colt Brennan type guy.
