I once read somewhere that "pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall." I wonder if Timmy is familiar with the book that qoute came from? Certainly his mirmidons aren't. Unfortunately they will take that phrase and turn it on its head to prove that BECAUSE Tebow is "persecuted" he is doing right while it would seem that the base text speaks to his prior behavior leading to his ignominous end.

I was thinking more along the lines of his reported refusal to cooperate when those teams tried to get him to contribute as a non-QB.

Maybe he doesn't have the passion for football if it's not as QB...that he'd rather give up the money he could potentially make in the nfl in another position then do something that he isn't passionate about.

Just because 99% of the men on here would probably give their left nut to play in the NFL doesn't mean everyone would.

This was actually an ad the station ran yesterday. I turned it off after hearing the commercial.

I sent the SFR crew an email yesterday when I heard it. Prosser went off on a rant about uppity, holier than though NFL fans & Tebow haters being just as bad as the homers. I'm not a Tebow hater. He bashed me for being a hater while simultaneously admitting Tebow isn't an NFL caliber QB. So, is he a hater too?

I haven't heard the commercial and dont think I want to. Even Prosser has come to the rationalization that Tebow isnt cut out to be an NFL qb. He will go off on people that are against Tebow though. He is the exact person that would blame the Jaguars if Tebow came here and failed as a qb. Their line is horrible, the rb isnt fast enough, the receivers dont get open....the excuses would be endless.

I feel bad for him because his fan base has become crazy (its tempered down quite a bit lately). I hope he finds something he enjoys doing because I think his shots at being an NFL qb are over.

Boselli and Prisco mentioned that there was another rally on Monday evening when they arrived to do the radio show. It sounds like a Smart Car might be a little bit of overkill. A unicycle would suffice.

The commercial talks about how they're holding rallies every Monday evening, and this guy has met some really nice people down there. I wonder how many of them were asking him if he had a dollar to spare?

Just got through listening to Jay Mohr talking to giggly guy from KC about how the Jags should sign Tebow because they "got nothing to loose.". Then something dawned on me. These people don't care about any logic. They just want to bring the circus back at the Jaguars' expense. They just want to bring Tebow back in the NFL to have a laugh, and have a reason to justify it. Like they really care if Jaguars fill their seats or not. If it we're their team, it's a terrible idea. But because it's the Jaguars, it's Tebow Time.
