If The Jags Get Bridgewater, Shawn Watson To Oc

#1

The Colts' signed Andrew Luck's college offensive coordinator, Pep Hamilton, after Arians left which got me thinking, "If Bridgewater goes #1 to Jacksonville, could we snag his coordinator, too?" Jedd Fisch's offense has been historically bad. And, although, he only has Henne and Gabbert to work with, he does have offensive talent. If Jedd Fisch is gone after this year and Bridgewater is ours, would you want Shawn Watson? I think it could help Bridgewater's NFL transition seamless.

game planning against second rate college defenses to the pro is a very tall task. i brought up bringing kiffin as OC but hes too much of a distraction and everyone seems to be against it. so now I want an OC with a successful pro experience. or  maybe thats too much to ask for though  :woot:

I'd pass, but I do think it'd be a good idea for the Jags to also draft Devante Parker at some point.

They are in the AAC moving to the ACC next year coming from the Big East last year.

But Watson was the OC/QB coach at Nebraska before taking the Louisville job.

Because Bo Pelini came in and kept Watson and a couple of other coaches on for the first year, but then brought in all of his own guys the next year.

They were a top 25 team all of those years but I don't remember any specifics about their offense. I am not condoning bringing him to the Jaguars I am just responding to one specific statement you made.

yeah well i made those comments due to their level of competition while teddy was the qb because i doubt the OC's transition would be as smooth going from Big ten to ACC then the pros.
