Hard to believe that "Black Hawk Down" was only 20 years back. Wow. I agree with the OP, the military can never get enough thanks and praise.

October 3rd-4th 1993 was a sad, and tragic event. Yet, the soldiers who were there that day demonstrated incredible courage and fearlessness, going into an extremely hostile city just to rescue their buddies. The Military doesn't get enough praise, but than again, they probably like it that way.
