Browns - 7 Picks In 1St 4 Rounds

Yes, you read that right.

Does anybody see the Browns offering the Jags both of their 1st rounders to move into the 1st pick? If so, would you be happy with that?

Won't happen, but yeah - I'd like it.

No, Bridgewater is worth WAY more than getting a mid 20s pick for trading back a few spots. Just my opinion, but I can't imagine a realistic scenario where I'd trade the #1 pick.

Thank you.

Someone with some sense.

I don't want the Jags giving up Bridgewater unless the deal exceeds what the Redskins gave up for RG3

Given how the Browns have been doing lately... it'd take a lot more than their two firsts.  They could very well have their first pick in the teens.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

No. If we get the #1 pick, do not trade down under any reasonable circumstances. Only way I'd trade down is if we got what the Rams got and then some (I'm talking like 3 1sts, 3 2nds, and some 3rds).

We need a QB. Don't trade down.

So much for the Browns tanking...

This franchise can't afford to give up the #1 pick overall.

It'd take more than both there first rounders, but if they could package away enough high picks, i'd go for it.  This roster is in serious need of talent infusion and there are other franchise QBs in this draft as well as the next.  That being said, I really like Teddy so the offer would have to blow Caldwell away.

Yep, exactly. Even if the Browns gave us all 7 of their highest picks in this years draft, it wouldn't be enough for me to make the deal. Bridgewater is that good.

It would have to be a deal that exceeded what the Redskins gave up for RG3 that year for me to even begin to listen to offers.

This has been brought up multiple times on this board. The answer will always be no.

Nope. If we end up with the #1 pick, please just take the QB, no matter what anyone offers.

Yeah, I don't get even making the suggestion. Some people are just scared to take a franchise QB I guess.

Well, I wouldn't go as far to say "no matter what...."

But as said put it this way....

The compensation/ negotiations would have to ---start--- at more than what the Redskins gave up for RG3.

I mean, there comes a point where you'd have to start considering offers, but the price is uber steep. Otherwise, yes, just take Bridgewater.

I'm pretty sure that's how the Jags will see it too.
