I'm not sure that Bryant's problems were because of addiction though. Even people of high moral character struggle to overcome addiction, not just immature or bad rep guys. That's why Blackmon concerns me, by most accounts he's a hard-working guy, he just has a drinking problem. People all around us are high-functioning addicts, but the work has to come first and I I dont' know if he can keep it that way.

if he doesn't miss a scheduled rehab meeting or piss test (he can get flagged for alcohol on it and not be penalized), hires a driver full time, then he shouldn't trigger the substance abuse policy 1 year suspension.  he can drink all he wants if he doesn't get another arrest related to his drinking since he is in the program. 

 

 

blackmon, don't jeopardize your career with this substance abuse, but if you really can't lay off the sauce, then work the system man!

Per all accounts, he's in the best shape he's ever been in. 

 

Why don't you give the guy a break? Everyone makes mistakes. Give him a chance to atone. 

 

You know, it almost impossible to gain 8 pounds of muscle while losing 4% body fat in only 4 weeks. Lighten up.

 

There's probably error in how everything was measured up, but I still like that this means he's working hard.

I'm not starting Blackmon on his first week back, I'll wait & see how he looks out there first. If you have better options, you should probably do the same.
