What are some of your favorite touchdown celebrations by current and/or former players?

 

Last week, all three Denver running backs played rock paper scissors to decide who will score the next touchdown. Knowshown Moreno remembered that and celebrated a touchdown against the Eagles by doing it twice, although I doubt they played that game again.

 

I always liked the Mile High Salute usually done by Terrell Davis. Broncos fans were mad when MJD did it in Denver, calling it disrespectful, but I don't care.

 

Lambeau Leaps were cool in the beginning, but I am sick of players turning around and falling into people's laps. The NFL needs to stop that part of it.

If all touchdown celebrations were banned, players also could not do chest bumps, which are extremely popul/ar. Would you want those outlawed too?

Of course, it's all taunting of players who were defeated. In fact, we should not keep score too, it's discriminatory.

I don't think all touchdown celebrations are taunting. However, some of them are obviously bad, like the cutthroat that prompted the NFL writing a letter to all 32 teams. The only one I saw live and would want to see a flag for was Terrell Owens making a T and O with his arms, which clearly was an attempt to make himself look like what he was: a selfish guy other players did not like playing with.

 

Santonio Holmes, on the other hand, actually shows support for the whole team by pretending to be an airplane.  I see no problem with that one at all.

I liked the Deion Sanders dance. I like TD celebrations... The Icky shuffle was nice back in the day. If someone want to dance, or celebrate.... That's fine. I don't want the NFL to become the NO FUN LEAGUE.

I did the cut throat in high school when I got a sack against our rivals.  I to this day dont know why I did it...it wasnt planned and just happened.  The video of it is pretty awesome though.

If we are going to talk about sacks, you gotta love Clay Matthews. His sack dance is awesome!

 

Merton Hanks pretended to be a pigeon after a sack. Once he pigeon danced into the end zone. A sideline reporter explained that comes from Bert's song on Sesame Street.

 

I never saw the Icky Shuffle, but I did see the Dirty Bird dance by Falcons running back Jamal Anderson. That was cool, consisderintg he played for a bird team.
