Boldin is good but he is not a #1. He isn't fast. He doesn't separate from defenders. There is nobody on the outside for SF that can win one and one and stretch a defense.

 

His problem is the same problem Brady is having in New England. Wide Receiver play matters.

Yep, he played all of 10 games last year, and was proclaimed awesome because he was a running QB that no one knew how to prepare for yet. Its almost a genius strategy. Place Alex Smith for 8 games and get everyone used to him and then switch to a completly different type of QB. Plus his face looks stupid, especially that one he made wearing the Miami Dolphins hat. Yeah, just thinking about it confirms it to me. He bad.
